Meet the Facilitator
Alexis A. Galloway, CEO
Alexis is a former federal government employee and has successfully served as an effective and transformative leader in healthcare and housing agencies. She's accomplished building and supporting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committees, charter teams, facilitating diversity listening sessions for federal and state employees and partners, managing & mentoring hundreds of diverse employees and leaders. She's passionate about servant leadership, hands on training (in-person/virtual), establishing, improving & changing workplace culture for staff and leaders. She has extensive professional experience and is considered a subject matter expert in administrative and organizational consulting, contract management and organizational leadership.
Alexis's educational resume is continously evolving. She's mastered working and managing in the following fields: Nursing, Health Care Services, Health Administration and Housing. She's achieved great success in intense, challenging and stressful work environments. In December 2020, she completed a certificate in Diversity & Inclusion from eCornell. In 2024, she enrolled at Grand Canyon University pursing her second masters in Psychology with an emphasis in Life Coaching. She continues to facilitate and mentor in several organizations.
She's a native of New Orleans, La., graduate of McDonogh 35 Senior High School and an OEF/OIF Navy veteran. She's extremely proud to mother two beautiful children, Alex and Camille and grandmother to one granddaughter, Raelynn. She's also the proud owner of CubaNO Chix, her own coffee brand specializing in chicory and Cuban coffee. She's a change agent, a bold, charismatic, unapologetic, truth believing and speaking leader who is not afraid to disrupt your normal way of thinking, conducting business and leading.
