Alexis is a remarkable, authentic, influential leader and collaborator. And I had the fantastic opportunity to work with her at a large Academic Pacific Northwest Medical Center, where she brought together an interdiscplinary, diverse, and transdiscplinary team to establish, charter and launch a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Board. The DEI committee is active and thriving today. Alexis is politically astute, has excellent interpersonal skills, business acumen, highly responsive, with mastery in emotional intelligence. She executes her deliverables timely, outperforms on her commitments and does so enriched in empathy. Futhermore, she understands the corporate culture, its frailties, bureaucracies, and nuances, yet recognizes that her mission is to close gaps in equity and equality and do so with influence, integrity and ethics.
